Spring Is In The Air. It’s that time again! We’re back with the first episode of Season 2 of The Follow! While many offseason storylines focus on new names, South Carolina made headlines for who came back.

With Spencer Rattler, Juice Wells, and Dakereon Joyner all returning to the Garnet & Black for another season, experience is a huge asset for the Gamecocks heading into the fall as the team installs Dowell Loggains’ offense.

Gamecock softball is hot at the right time, heading into the opening round of the NCAA Tournament having won four of their last five games on a historic run through the SEC Tournament. With the first game of the tournament right around the corner tomorrow, read more about how our Gamecocks are preparing and how they’re feeling heading into championship season.

🔼 That’s An Ace. We love keeping up with our former Gamecocks! Men’s tennis superstar Francisco Cerundolo earned his fifth top-10 win after knocking off No. 8 Jannik Sinner at the Italian Open this week.

🔼 Jaw Dropping. Evan Stone’s SportsCenter Top-10 worthy catch is one you’ll have to see to believe.

🔼 Doing More. Senior pitcher Wesley Sweatt has earned a spot on the SEC’s Baseball Community Service Team. Sweatt, who was one of two Gamecocks to win the Brad Davis Community Service Award, is a consistent presence in the Columbia community, often working with the Oliver Gospel Mission and the Busbee Middle School Mentoring Program.

🔼 Don’t Lose That Hunger. Nick Emmanwori had a dominant freshman season, and Coach Beamer attributed much of the rookie’s success to the incredible drive he brought to the field every day.

“He did a great job last season of having an edge about himself and continuing to get better and better,” Coach Beamer said. “So that’s the thing that I’ve just continued to challenge him on and all of us have, just don’t lose that edge, don’t lose that hunger, which he won’t.”
