Spring Is In The Air. It’s that time again! We’re back with the first episode of Season 2 of The Follow! While many offseason storylines focus on new names, South Carolina made headlines for who came back.

Gamecock softball is hot at the right time, heading into the opening round of the NCAA Tournament having won four of their last five games on a historic run through the SEC Tournament. 🔼 Doing More. Senior pitcher Wesley Sweatt has earned a spot on the SEC’s Baseball Community Service Team. Sweatt, who was one of two Gamecocks to win the Brad Davis Community Service Award, is a consistent presence in the Columbia community, often working with the Oliver Gospel Mission and the Busbee Middle School Mentoring Program.

​🔼 Don’t Lose That Hunger. Nick Emmanwori had a dominant freshman season, and Coach Beamer attributed much of the rookie’s success to the incredible drive he brought to the field every day.

“He did a great job last season of having an edge about himself and continuing to get better and better,” Coach Beamer said. “So that’s the thing that I’ve just continued to challenge him on and all of us have, just don’t lose that edge, don’t lose that hunger, which he won’t.”
