This South Carolina baseball team is heating up right as postseason play is getting underway! In the latest episode of The Follow, we’re looking at all of the reasons why you can never count out the Gamecocks.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Relay Recap. The men’s team opened the NCAA East Regionals with a bang earlier this week! Four Gamecocks advanced to tomorrow’s quarterfinals in five events, while three secured their spot in the NCAA Championship!

Channing Ferguson (long jump), Dylan Targgart (shot put), and CJ Licata (shot put) are all through to the title competition in June! Watch the jump that sent Ferguson to the NCAA Championship.

Meanwhile, DJ Warmington (110m hurdles), Anass Essayi (1500m), Jaouad Khchina (1500m), and Nyck Harbor (100m and 200m) all qualified for the quarterfinals tomorrow for a chance at the NCAA Championship.

🔼 Relay Recap II. The Gamecock women had an outstanding day at the NCAA East Regionals! Eight women competed for South Carolina Track & Field and all eight earned automatic bids into Saturday’s quarterfinal events! Judy Kosgei (1500m), Cynteria James (100m), Zaya Akins (400m), Jahnile Registre (400m), JaMeesia Ford (200m), Jayla Jamison (200m), James (200m), and Sylvia Chelangat (800m) will all run against this weekend with an NCAA Championship bid on the line.

🔼 Ashlyn Swatkins. We’ve got more installments of South Carolina women’s basketball Best Of series to enjoy this morning! The latest post is all about celebrating the incredible Ashlyn Watkins. Watkins, who averaged 9.2 points and 7.4 boards per game, is third in South Carolina women’s basketball history in single-season blocks!
