šŸ”¼ To Nationals! Four Gamecocks advanced out of the NCAA East Regionals to punch their tickets to the NCAA Track & Field Championship! On the menā€™s team, Anass Essayi and Filip Demsar will head to Austin for the finals, which get underway June 7-10. Anass finished second in the opening heat of the 1500m and 14th overall in the event with a 3:53.83, while Demsar is moving on in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 13.60.

A day later, a pair of Gamecock women also secured their spots in Austin. Silan Ayyildiz set a new school record in the womenā€™s 1500m with a 4:12.11 while Jayla Jamison ran the womenā€™s 200m in 22.84 to advance. Watch Silan set the Gamecock record!

ā€‹šŸ”¼ All-Americans On The Green. Gamecock womenā€™s golf stars Mathilde Claisse, Hannah Darling, and Louise Rydqvist all earned WGCA All-American honors for their incredible season on the links. Darling was named to the First Team, while Claisse and Rydqvist both earned Honorable Mentions. Under head coach Kalen Anderson, South Carolina has had 42 All-America honors across 15 different players in 16 seasons, and this marks the eighth straight year the team has had multiple players recognized.

ā€‹šŸ”¼ First Win. Aliyah Boston celebrating her first WNBA win with her Indiana Fever teammates is the exact kind of energy we all need this morning.

The Fever downed the Atlanta Dream, 90-87, yesterday afternoon. Aliyah scored 13 for the Fever, including this beauty in the paint, while Allisha Gray had 19 on the other side of the court for the Dream.
