🔼 On Par. Kalen Anderson will lead South Carolina women’s golf into its NCAA Regional as the reigning 2024 SEC Coach of the Year! It’s the fourth time Anderson has earned the honor. South Carolina heads into NCAA Regional play as a No. 1 seed and the No. 2 overall team in the Clippd Team Rankings. The Gamecocks posted four wins this season while teeing off against one of the most challenging schedules in the nation.

Anderson wasn’t the only Gamecock to earn conference recognition this week. Hannah Darling and Louise Rydqvist both earned First Team All-SEC honors, while Mia Sandtorv Lussand and freshman Vairana Heck earned Second Team All-SEC honors. Heck also landed on the SEC All-Freshman team. South Carolina is the only team in the conference to have multiple players on the All-SEC First Team.

🔼 Ranked & Postseason Ready. New rankings are in for our Gamecock tennis squads as both the men’s and women’s programs get ready to tackle the NCAA Tournament.

South Carolina women’s tennis is No. 19 in the ITA team rankings. Ayana Akli lands at No. 11 overall in singles rankings, while Sarah Hamner checks in at No. 19. In doubles, Akli and Hamner are ranked 28th, while Akli and Olympe Lancelot are No. 71.

South Carolina men’s tennis will head into the postseason ranked 16th in the ITA rankings, while Toby Samuel checks in at No. 6, James Story at No. 97, and Casey Hoole at No. 101 in the singles rankings. Samuel and Hoole rank No. 20 and Samuel and Story rank No. 43 in the doubles.

🔼 Cap & Gown. 108 South Carolina student-athletes will take a different kind of stage this week as they are slated to earn their diplomas during graduation ceremonies at Colonial Life Arena! Click here for a full list of our graduating athletes.

🔼 Thank You, Seniors. South Carolina softball will celebrate Senior Weekend at Beckham Field when our squad hosts the No. 13 Missouri Tigers this weekend. Our incredible seniors will be honored before all three games with former players Karsen Ochs and Haley Simpson honored on Friday, Aniyah Black, Denver Bryant, Jen Cummings, and Riley Blampied on Saturday, and Bailey Betenbaugh, Zoe Laneaux, Alana Vawter, and Kianna Jones on Sunday.

The first 250 fans on Friday will receive a free rally towel, while the first 250 fans on Saturday get a free Gamecock softball T-shirt. On Sunday, the first 100 fans will be treated to an ice cream sandwich and post-game on-field autographs.

🔼 Let’s Rotate. The rotation is set for South Carolina baseball’s road clash against Missouri this weekend. Roman Kimball gets the nod for Friday’s series opener set for 7:00pm ET, while Eli Jones takes the mound Saturday at 4:00pm ET. The starter for Sunday’s matinee will be announced later.
