Thanks for following along (see what we did there?) with our recap of The Follow, GamecockPlus’ exclusive inside look at this season of South Carolina baseball.

Today, we’re looking back at Season 2, Episode 4: A lifelong Gamecock fan from the Midlands, Dalton Reeves grew up around Founders Park as a little kid asking for autographs. A decade later, he's now living out a childhood dream. Not only is he hitting bombs against his former team, he's getting the opportunity to help this Carolina team down the stretch as they prepare for a postseason run. Meanwhile, the always-steady Eli Jones is anchoring a rotation hitting its stride in May.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Rain, Rain, Go Away. South Carolina softball will take the field today after rain delayed the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament yesterday. The Gamecocks are scheduled to face off against Texas A&M 35 minutes after the conclusion of Florida vs. Georgia, which will get underway at 10:00am EST this morning. The semifinals are still scheduled to be played later this afternoon.

🔼 Catch It All. D1 Baseball is releasing updated player rankings, and yesterday, the publication rolled out its updated list of the Top 50 college catchers in the game. Gamecock fans, you’re going to like who sits at No. 1.

🔼 The Great Outdoors. It’s championship season! South Carolina Track & Field opened the SEC Outdoor Championships yesterday in Gainesville. The three-day meet will run through Saturday night and represents the last chance for athletes to qualify for the NCAA East Regional in Lexington from May 22-25. You can catch up with all the events and results here.

🔼 Back Home. A’ja Wilson is one of the best to ever wear the Garnet & Black, and she’s ready to suit up one more time at Colonial Life Arena this weekend when the Las Vegas Aces play the Puerto Rican national team. The State dives deep into A’ja’s time at the University of South Carolina — from the moment she chose to play for the Gamecocks to her Senior Day to the unveiling of her statue outside the arena. It’s a profile and a look back on a legacy you can’t miss.
