As Gamecock baseball hits the diamond for its last home series of the regular season, let’s throw it back to The Follow: Season 2, Episode 3.

Getting to the postseason takes everybody on the roster, from veteran leaders to a freshman or two stepping up in big moments. Parker Noland and Tyler Pitzer found themselves square in the middle of huge spots when third-ranked Vanderbilt came to town. With the Commodores at Founders Park, the rookie and the vet take center stage.

🔼 California Dreamin’. Gamecock women’s golf is off to the NCAA Championship! South Carolina used a strong Day 3 outing to finish tied for fourth place as the top five teams from each regional advanced to this year’s NCAA Championship in California. On the player leaderboard, Louise Rydqvist finished tied for second place.

Watch the moment Rydqvist’s putt sent South Carolina back to California for its fourth straight NCAA Championship appearance! The Championship will take place May 17-22.

🔼 Signed, Sealed, Delivered. A’ja Wilson continues to make an impact on and off the court; our former superstar inked a multi-year partnership with Gatorade this week.

“We’re thrilled about the addition of A’ja Wilson to our elite athlete roster ahead of the 2024 WNBA season,” said Gatorade’s head of sports marketing Jeff Kearney. “A’ja has already had an outstanding career full of many accomplishments, and we’re excited to be fueling her as she furthers her impact within sports and beyond.”

Be on the lookout for A’ja’s first Gatorade campaign later this spring!

🔼 One More Time. Come on out to Founders Park to honor South Carolina baseball’s seniors during the last regular season home series of the season. 🔼 In The Books. Dylan Targgart just did something no other Gamecock Track & Field athlete has ever done before! Targarrat swept SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for both the indoor and outdoor seasons in the same calendar year.

Targgart graduated from the University of South Carolina last weekend with an undergraduate degree in Finance, an accomplishment he earned while also finishing as the runner-up at the SEC Indoor Championship in the shot put and earning a bronze medal at the NCAA Indoor Championship. During the outdoor season, Targgart won three events.
