Counting It Down. Are you ready Gamecock fans? As promised, we’re counting down the best content — from film rooms to all-access passes to in-depth looks to Gamecock Talk podcasts — from our fall and spring seasons, and what better way to kick this summer series off than with the Best Of our Gamecocks Access pieces from the fall?

Let’s dive in.

No. 5 - Three for Three: Three drives, three touchdowns for the Gamecock offense against No. 5 Tennessee. Go inside the radio booth with Tommy Suggs and down onto the field for the touchdown strike.

No. 4 - Joy = Found: All eyes are on Coach Beamer and the Gamecock sideline as the final seconds tick off the clock against Clemson.

No. 3 - Rivalry on the Pitch: One of the best rivalries in sports heads to Stone Stadium as South Carolina men’s and women’s soccer clashes with Clemson on the pitch.

No. 2 - Sandstorming: One of the biggest upsets in Gamecock football history culminates with a sandstorming for the ages.

No. 1 - Postgame Locker Room - Clemson: It’s all smiles and good vibes in the locker room after the Gamecocks bring the Palmetto Trophy home. The speech. The cigars. The energy. Go back to that night!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 A Career Start. Donnie Gobourne’s pro debut went exactly how you’d expect for one of the most dominant pitchers in Gamecock softball history: she crushed it! Gobourne earned the save in her first appearance for the OKC Spark, then followed that up by earning the win on Saturday night with five strikeouts in five innings!

🔼 Pitch Schedule. Start marking your calendar because we’ve got schedules in hand for Gamecock men’s and women’s soccer! The women’s regular season opens on August 20 against Jacksonville, while the men’s regular season gets started on August 27 when the team takes on Gardner Webb.

🔼 To Play My Game. What was Allisha Gray’s philosophy when she first took the court in Atlanta? Let her tell you.

🔼 All-Americans On The Green. As we wrap up the spring sports season, more All-American honors continue to come in for our Gamecocks! Hannah Darling and Mathilde Claisse earned All-America recognition from Golfweek, with Darling landing on the first team and Claisse receiving an honorable mention. Darling and Claisse both helped guide South Carolina women’s golf to a tie of the program’s best-ever finish at the NCAA Championships.

🔼 Going Pro. Carmen Mlodzinski is in the big leagues! The former Gamecock earned a call-up to the Pittsburgh Pirates ahead of the team’s weekend series against the Brewers. Mlodzinski pitched out of the bullpen on Friday in Milwaukee, striking out two, walking one, and giving up one run. Here’s the story behind his call-up.

Mlodzinski has pitched well in relief for the Indianapolis Indians this season with a 3.16 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 25.2 innings.
