🔼 Win, Win, Win. We love a great recap list, and this breakdown of the best wins of the Shane Beamer era so far is no exception. Check out Part 1 of the rankings, as GamecockScoop explores the top wins it has ranked No. 11-15.

🔼 All-Star Campaign. Bally Sports Arizona laid out Christian Walker’s case to earn an All-Star nod over the month of June, and it’s a good one: he’s hitting .362 with 12 extra-base hits, 13 RBI, and a 1.097 OPS over 15 games. Vote for Christian here!

🔼 Countdown: 74. We’ve only got to make it 74 days until September 2 and then we’ll be back in our happy place watching the Gamecocks take the gridiron!

And speaking of 74 days to go, that’s exactly how many receptions Sterling Sharpe recorded during the 1986 season, a record that’s good for third place all-time in the history books for most catches in a single season. At the time, Sharpe’s 74 receptions in one season set the new school record.

🔼 Hot Streak. How did the WNBA’s Week 4 treat our Gamecocks? Here are some highlights:

Allisha Gray continues to show why she’s the Dream’s MVP this season. In the team’s last three wins, she posted 16 points, six boards, and two steals, then tallied a double-double with 27 points and 10 rebounds, and then scored 25 points with three assists, two boards, and two steals.

Aliyah Boston’s hot start to the season carried into the last week as she registered a double-double against Washington with 23 points and 14 rebounds, then scored 19 against Chicago, and added 25 against Allisha Gray and the Dream.

A’ja Wilson and the Aces stayed dominant during the week with Wilson posting 14 points and 12 boards in a win over Seattle, then eight points, 14 rebounds, and four blocks in a win over Minnesota.

Zia Cooke found herself in the Sparks’ starting lineup this week as she spent 25 minutes on the court against Minnesota, then played 14 minutes against Connecticut. Fellow Gamecock Destanni Henderson also saw playing time against Connecticut after she joined the Sparks at the end of last week.

Finally, Tiffany Mitchell tallied a total of 13 points, four assists, and three rebounds in two games for Minnesota last week.
