My Time: Spring Edition. Yesterday, we counted down our Top 5 My Time videos from the fall season. Today, we’re doing the same thing featuring our spring squads!

No. 5: Fairway Family: "Family" is a term you hear a lot of teams use to describe their culture. For the Gamecock Women's Golf team, it's no different. Ride along with us as we head to Hilton Head Island for the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate.

No. 4: From Court to Court: Court, bench, defense -- to a basketball player these are just part of the game they love, but to Benjamin Bosmans-Verdonk those words took on a whole new meaning. The transfer forward from Belgium might have had a little more on his plate than the average SEC student-athlete. He juggled going up against some of the best athletes in the country with law school.

No. 3: Diving’s Dynamic Duo: Gamecock divers Brooke Schultz and Manny Vazquez Bas accomplished so much in their careers, but it was always about more than chasing medals. It was about building something, leaving a legacy, and chasing their dreams. Hear about how they got started, how they developed into leaders on the USC dive team, and what it would mean to represent their home countries in the Olympics.

No. 2: “The Hit” Retold: Every Gamecock fan knows exactly where they were on January 1, 2013 when Jadeveon Clowney rocked the sports world. Now, a decade later, the play known as "The Hit" still generates as much buzz and excitement among Carolina fans as the day it happened. But you've never heard the story told like this. Steve Spurrier, Lorenzo Ward, DJ Swearinger, Dylan Thompson - even the man lined up across from Clowney - Taylor Lewan, all sharing their perspective of one of the most famous hits in college football history.

No. 1: Small Town Big Dreams: Darius Rush’s Life Calling: This original short film tells the story of the Gamecock Football cornerback’s journey from Kingstree, SC to the University of South Carolina and on to fulfilling his dream of making it to the NFL. Follow along during “Darius Rush Day” and join the celebration on draft night while hearing from the people of Kingstree, like his mom, brother, and Nana, who helped him achieve his goals and overcome unimaginable loss at a young age.

South Carolina will play home-and-homes with Kentucky, Missouri, and Tennessee, and host Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt. The Gamecocks will hit the road to take on Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, LSU, and Texas A&M.

🔼 ACC vs. SEC. The ACC/SEC men’s and women’s basketball challenge matchups are set! Gamecock women’s hoops will travel to Chapel Hill to take on the Tar Heels on November 30, while the men’s squad will welcome Notre Dame to Colonial Life Arena on November 28 at 7 p.m. ET.

🔼 Diamond League. Who is Gamecock Track and Field head coach Tim Hall? Get to know more about the new man in charge as he walked Gamecock Nation through his plans for South Carolina to “win sooner rather than later” and how he plans to do it in a conference he describes like this:

“The SEC doesn’t yield itself to the faint of heart. I call it a Diamond League every time the teams come together, indoor and outdoor. If we were a country, the SEC would have been like fifth or sixth in the World Championships in terms of the caliber of performances.”

🔼 That Energy. Former Gamecock Alaina Coates is heading to the desert after the Phoenix Mercury signed her this week. Coates, the second overall draft pick in 2017, spent the offseason playing in Turkey, averaging 11.8 points and 9.8 rebounds.

“It’s amazing. Gamecock Nation, they’ve always had my back through ups and downs and injuries…they’ve always been there for me…they’re always going to support every single last person who came through the University of South Carolina. That energy, it just can’t be beat,” Coates said when asked about the support of South Carolina fans throughout her career.
