🔼 Smarty Pants. Our Gamecocks are crushing it on and off the field once again! South Carolina named 107 student-athletes from nine different teams to the Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll. Gamecocks from baseball, beach volleyball, men’s and women’s golf, softball, men’s and women’s tennis, and men’s and women’s track and field and cross country were all recognized.

🔼 Stars And Stripes. Ethan Petry took to the diamond this week to compete in the 2023 Collegiate National Team Training Camp, a four-game series taking place this summer in North Carolina. Petry, who suited up for the Stripes, finished with three hits, two runs scored, and an RBI in the game. Watch his RBI single here. 

🔼 Baseball Recap. The final awards from the 2023 baseball season are trickling in, and Baseball America and D1 Baseball named both Ethan Petry and Cole Messina All-Americans.

Meanwhile, check out more final SEC rankings for some of our guys: Cole Messina finished tied for seventh in doubles with 18 and tied for ninth in RBI with 65, James Hicks finished 5th in ERA at 3.48, Jack Mahoney tied for seventh with 84.1 innings pitched and fifth with 17 starts, and Chris Veach landed firmly in fourth place with six saves.
