Double The Dreams. Grayson Greiner got to do something that not a lot of people get to achieve in life: he lived out not just one, but two dreams when he played first for his hometown Gamecocks, then made it to the big leagues. Here’s how he did it — and what it was like to make his dreams come true.

🔼 Next Up. The Gamecocks are Florida-bound! South Carolina will head to Gainesville for the Super Regionals to face the Gators; the Gamecocks swept Florida the last time these two teams clashed. Game dates and times will be announced later this morning.

As for the mindset of the Gamecocks heading into next weekend’s slate? Let them tell you themselves.

And if you can’t get enough of Gamecock baseball right now, there’s tons of great season-long content on Gamecocks+. Use promo code SUPER to save $30 off an annual membership.

🔼 More Formidable Than Ever. It’s already a season to remember for the Gamecocks, who climbed as high as No. 3 in the national rankings. As D1 Baseball writes after the Gamecocks advanced to the Super Regionals in wildly dominant fashion, South Carolina “weathered the storm (and) emerged more formidable than ever.”

🔼 Jaw Dropper. A’ja Wilson is slaying the early start to the WNBA season! The reigning WNBA Defensive Player of the Year became only the third player in league history to post a stat line with 27 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and two steals, and she did so in an epic come-from-behind win.

🔼 Smarty Pants. Your Gamecock student-athletes are crushing it on the field (or the court, track, golf course, pool, etc.!) and in the classroom. The spring semester came to a close with a student-athlete departmental GPA of 3.39, and with the exception of the COVID-19 Spring 2020 semester, it’s the 33rd straight semester with a 3.0 or higher — and the highest GPA on record!

Extra credit to women’s golf with the highest team GPA, followed by beach volleyball and men’s soccer!

🔼 To The Stadium! Father’s Day is fast approaching and what would make Dad happier than a) spending time with you and b) doing it at Willy B? Take advantage of South Carolina’s Catch a Game with Dad ticket promo! Purchase tickets for either the September 9 home opener under the lights against Furman or the November 18 battle against Kentucky by June 18 and you’ll enjoy a discounted rate and get a certificate to give as a gift. We’ll see you there!

🤔 GAMECOCK TRIVIA
