🔼 SEC Takeover. The South Carolina takeover of the SEC Network is complete, and if you missed any of the best moments, we’ve got you covered!

🔼 At The Next Level. Trent Dilfer and Sports Illustrated recently broke down the top college QBs to watch ahead of the NFL Draft, including our very own Spencer Rattler. Here’s what Difler had to say about QB1:

“(He) has way more arm talent than people give him credit for. I’d say in this group, after (Drake) Maye, Caleb (Williams), I might be missing one, but he has the arm that fits that big-time quarterback conversation. He’s a very good athlete, he’s football savvy, he’s been coached really well.”

🔼 Drafted! The MLB Draft is in the books, and six Gamecocks were selected across the three-day event. On the third and final day, James Hicks was drafted in the 13th round by the Houston Astros, while the New York Yankees tabbed Cade Austin in the 19th round.

🔼 Good Works. Offensive lineman Vershon Lee earned a nomination to the 2023 Allstate American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team. The team honors student-athletes who aim to give back to their communities through mentoring, food drives, and donations. Read more here.

🔼 Smart Court. Gamecock men’s and women’s tennis continued a stong tradition of crushing it on the court and in the classroom. The women’s team posted its 10th straight ITA All-Academic Team honor, while the men’s program earned recognition for the 12th year in a row.

Sarah Hamner, Jake Beasley, Raphael Lambling, Connor Thomson, James Story, Toby Samuel, and Jelani Starr all earned Scholar-Athlete honors, too!
