🔼 Gamecocks In The WNBA. The WNBA season is eight weeks in, and it’s time to see how some of our favorite former Gamecocks are doing at the next level. Allisha Gray just keeps scoring; she led the Dream in points (17) during Atlanta’s upset win over Connecticut, then led all scorers with 24 against the Liberty. Gray is averaging 15.6 points per game in 17 starts this season.

Kamilla Cardoso is making quite the name for herself as a rebounder; Cardoso grabbed 18 boards in two games last week, while Tyasha Harris is in the midst of a career season. The former Gamecock posted 23 points in an OT win over Washington, setting a new career-high.

Aliyah Boston led the Fever in scoring on Sunday, posting 17 points and hauling in eight rebounds. Boston’s three-pointer in the game’s final minutes cut the Mercuy’s lead in half and was a huge catalyst for Indiana’s come-from-behind win. And as always, Las Vegas’ A’ja Wilson continues to drop jaws; she’s now averaging 26.9 points and 11.5 rebounds in 16 starts this season.

🔼 To Paris. Congratulations are in order as former Gamecock women’s soccer goalie Sabrina D’Angelo is heading to the Olympics with the Canadian national team!

🔼 Summer Songs. Gamecock women’s basketball is sharing their songs of the summer. Who knew these basketball superstars were also such talented vocalists?

🔼 Conference Growth. It’s official! The Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns joined the best conference in the nation yesterday.

🔼 Wimbledon Ready. Wimbledon is underway, and two Gamecock men’s tennis alums will start the tournament in the Wimbledon’s men’s singles main draw. Francisco Cerundolo and Paul Jubb were two of just 30 collegiate players in the singles main draws across the men’s and women’s competitions. Paul and Fran start their tournament journeys this morning at 6AM ET.

Meanwhile, Ingrid Martins will start her Wimbledon quest in the women’s doubles draw tomorrow.
