1988 Goalkeeper of the Year, All-American, and last season, South Carolina immortalized his legacy forever with a jersey retirement. Charlie Arndt was a huge part of the historic 1987 Gamecock men’s soccer team that finished with the second-best record in program history, and he still holds the school's single-season and career record for goals against average. 🔼 Gamecocks In The WNBA. Let’s keep the Gamecock women’s basketball theme rolling in today’s Brew. Laeticia Amihere, who was recently named to the Canadian women’s basketball national team for the upcoming Olympics, set some new season-highs in minutes and points against the Connecticut Sun, while teammate Allisha Gray continues to do it all for the Dream, averaging 16.1 points per game.

Kamilla Cardoso continues to post solid lines with eight points and 10 rebounds in a win against the Dream and nine points and eight boards in a win against the Storm. Meanwhile, Tiffany Mitchell continues to have a great season for the Sun; she scored a season-high 13 points against the Dream and leads the team in scoring off the bench.

Aliyah Boston had a fantastic week for the Fever, shooting 58.6% from the field in games against the Aces and Liberty. Boston scored 18 points in each game.

🔼 A Big Role. The expectations are high for first-round draft pick Xavier Legette as the Panthers wanted a “receiver who could create separation and get open deep…Legette has been all that.”
