🔼 An Early Palmetto Battle. We MADE it! No. 12 Gamecock women’s soccer takes the pitch tonight against No. 25 Clemson in the squad’s regular-season opener. The match gets underway from Clemson at 7 p.m. ET on ACCNX. The season’s first SC Education Lottery Palmetto Series battle is just hours away!

🔼 On Air. Gamecock men’s golf will tee off on a new season in a big way. The Folds of Honor Collegiate will be shown live on the Golf Channel from September 4-6 between 4-7 p.m. ET. Read more about the Folds of Honor Collegiate here.

🔼 Forever To Thee. Former Gamecock Chet Tucker is heading back to the sideline! Tucker, who suited up as a placekicker/punter for South Carolina in the late ‘90s, is the new sideline reporter for the 2023 South Carolina Football Radio Network broadcasts.

🔼 No Pain. Growing pains can be a normal part of installing a new offense with a new offensive coordinator, but when it comes to South Carolina, QB1 says there are no growing pains here.

“This is the best camp I’ve been a part of,” Rattler said this week. “Offensively I love everything we’re doing. I don’t feel any growing pains myself. The group has been gelling. We’ve been playing fast. I feel like it’s a complete turn, but like you said we’ve got to come out and do it and prove it. So we’re just going to keep stacking days and keep gelling and keep creating that chemistry.”

🔼 A True Legend. Tiffany Mitchell is one of the best to ever don the Garnet & Black for Gamecock women’s hoops and now her jersey will hang in the rafters forever. South Carolina announced Mitchell’s jersey retirement ceremony is slated for November 12 before tip-off as the Gamecocks host Maryland at Colonial Life Arena.

As for Tiffany, how’s she feeling about the big news? Let her tell you herself.

🤔 GAMECOCK TRIVIA

Exclusive Numbers. Tiffany Mitchell is one of only three Gamecocks to log a minimum of 1,500 points, 300 assists, and 200 steals during her career. Do you know how many points she scored in the Garnet & Black?
