Fall Lineup. The calendar might still say August, but fall is in the air. Soccer season is underway, and we’re just 15 days away from kickoff on a brand new football campaign.

🔼 Best Of The Best. South Carolina women’s soccer superstar Cat Barry earned her spot on the Watch List for the 2023 Hermann Trophy, which is given each year to the National Player of the Year. Barry, a senior forward, has led the Gamecocks in goals, points, shots, and shots on goals for the last three seasons.

🔼 Dive In. It’s time to make a splash! South Carolina Swim & Dive’s schedule is out, and the Gamecocks will open the season on the road on September 29 at UNC-Wilmington. The home slate opens a week later on October 7 when South Carolina welcomes Texas A&M and Virginia Tech for a tri-meet. Check out the full schedule here.

🔼 Medal Mayhem. And speaking of Swim & Dive, superstar diver Sophie Verzyl earned an incredible three bronze medals at the FISU World University Games in China this month. Verzyl’s medals came in the 1-meter springboard, 3-meter springboard, and in the women’s team event.

🔼 See You Tonight. Looking to hang out with the Gamecocks tonight? Come out to Stone Stadium as Gamecock men’s soccer welcomes Wofford in an exhibition game. The match gets underway at 7 p.m. ET and admission is free. More details here.

🔼 True Pipeline. South Carolina’s 10 alumni on WNBA rosters this year represent one of the biggest WNBA pipelines in the game.
