🔼 Here Comes The Sandstorm. The best tradition in all of college football will come to you live when Sandstorm creator Darude comes to Columbia! In partnership with Ariat and Harrison’s, Darude will perform a one-hour set in Gamecock Village presented by Farm Bureau Insurance on November 18 before the Gamecocks take on Kentucky. More details here.

🔼 School Bells Ringing. The Gamecocks are heading back in class and to celebrate back to school, South Carolina Athletics is offering a great promo for two upcoming games. You can secure tickets to South Carolina’s home opener against Furman and its November 4 battle with Jacksonville State for $23. Discounted tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. ET.

🔼 Hang Time. Kai Kroeger was named an Associated Press preseason second-team All-American this week after he finished last year with a 46.1 yards per punt average with 18 punts that went at least 50 yards.

Meanwhile, seven Gamecocks landed on the Preseason Coaches All-SEC teams. Juice Wells, Kai Kroeger, and Mitch Jeter earned first-team recognition, while Trey Knox, Dakereon Joyner, Tonka Hemingway, and Marcellas Dial were all named to the third team.

🔼 Deebo Time. Former South Carolina superstar Deebo Samuel is ready to take the NFL by storm once again. Deebo spent the offseason focused on building up his stamina and has an extra pep in his step as a new season is just a few weeks away.

“I think it’s like a little more to my step. Like a little more speed, so it’s a little bit more power. But overall, it felt good to get out there. I was usually going one, two plays, and then [had to] come out. But the durability and the capacity that I’ve built [will help me] keep going,” he said.
