Wells joined the Gamecock Talk podcast this week to talk about why being dependable is a huge responsibility he embraces and what he has planned for an encore.

🔼 Gamecocks In The WNBA. How are our former Gamecocks doing in the WNBA? It’s time for the Week 11 round-up! Allisha Gray’s strong run held steady last week as she scored in double figures in two of the Dream’s three games, giving her an average of 17.7 points and five rebounds per game on the season.

Tyasha Harris tallied a season-high 17 points as the Sun knocked off the Lynx; Harris is hot from beyond the arc this season, shooting 43.8%. Aliyah Boston’s final two games of the week were huge as the rookie sensation posted 19 points against the Mercury, then a 25-point double-double against the Dream.

A’ja Wilson logged another double-digit game this week with 20 points and 11 rebounds in the Aces’ win over the Dream before posting a nine-point, seven-rebound effort against the Liberty.

🔼 Our Most Dangerous Players. The Gamecocks are back on the pitch this week! South Carolina women’s soccer will take the field in an exhibition game against Duke at 5 p.m. ET on Thursday. 🔼 Playoff Gamecocks. Former South Carolina standout golfer Matt NeSmith is on to the PGA playoffs! NeSmith needed a strong outing at the Wyndham Championship over the weekend to tally more playoff points and came out on the other side of the tournament with a spot in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. The top 50 from this upcoming weekend’s FedEx St. Jude Championship will move on to the next round.
