Goal Setter, Goal Scorer. Senior forward Cat Barry is always a threat to put it in the back of the net for Gamecock women’s soccer. The first-team Alll-SEC forward led her team with 10 goals and seven assists last season en route to a conference tournament championship and an NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearance.
Barry’s prowess on the pitch has opposing defenses zoned in on shutting her down, but with six goals in nine games so far this season, she’s showing exactly why she won’t let anyone stand in the way of her goals — both on and off the field.
📈 STOCK UP
Lights, Lights, Lights. It’ll be another full house in Willy B! The Gamecocks announced this Saturday night’s game against Mississippi State is officially sold out! The game kicks at 7:30 pm ET, and South Carolina great Alshon Jeffery will be honored with his jersey retirement ceremony at halftime.
Looking ahead to the following week, the SEC announced South Carolina will square off against No. 23/21 Tennessee under the lights in Knoxville. That game will get underway on September 30 at 7:30 pm ET from Neyland Stadium as the conference rivals clash on the gridiron for the 42nd time.

🔼 Air Game. Three weeks into the season, QB1’s hot play is turning heads — and stacking up across the country. Spencer Rattler is ranked No. 9 in the nation with 954 passing yards, averaging 318 yards through the air per game.
And it’s not just the passing attack that’s catching attention. TJ Sanders earned Co-SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors from the conference this week after a superstar performance against top-ranked Georgia. The redshirt sophomore tallied a career-best nine tackles on Saturday afternoon and leads the Gamecocks this season with four tackles for a loss and two sacks.
