🔼 On Both Sides. Spencer Rattler and Alex Huntley picked up recognition from the SEC after their dominant performances on opposite sides of the ball on Saturday night! Rattler earned co-SEC Offensive Player of the Week after completing 18-of-20 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns, while Huntley was named SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week for posting two sacks, three tackles, and two broken up passes.

🔼 Hoops Battle. We’re one step closer to a Gamecock vs. Gamecock WNBA Championship battle! Tyasha Harris and the Connecticut Sun defeated the New York Liberty in Game 1 of the WNBA semifinals on Sunday, while A’ja Wilson, Alaina Coates, and the Las Vegas Aces took down the Dallas Wings. A’ja posted one of her signature stat lines, finishing the night with 34 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks. Both teams are back on the court tonight, with the Sun tipping off at 8:00pm ET and the Aces playing at 10:00pm ET.

🔼 Summer Ball. Already daydreaming about the Gamecocks back on the diamond? Here’s a little Gamecock baseball news to tide you over. After his dynamic rookie season, Ethan Petry’s summer plans are already firmed up: he’ll play with the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox of the Cape Cod Baseball League next summer.

🔼 Tip Time. We’re getting closer to the inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge, and now we’ve got tip times! Gamecock men’s hoops will tip at 7:00pm ET on November 28 when the squad takes on Notre Dame as part of the conference challenge. If you’re not at Colonial Life Arena, you can catch the game on the SEC Network!

🔼 On Par. Gamecock women’s golf followed up its season-opening tournament win with a third-place finish at the Mason Rudolph Championship! The Gamecocks used an incredible third round to propel themselves into the top three of the leaderboard; South Carolina shot six under par on Sunday. Individually, junior All-American Louise Rydqvist claimed her second straight top-five finish, while All-American Hannah Darling finished five under par in the tournament.

Next up is the Blessings Collegiate Invitational, which gets underway on October 2nd.
