🔼 On Top. Don’t look now, but 247sports just released its rankings of the SEC quarterbacks four games through the season, and QB1 is checking in at No. 1!

“Spencer Rattler mentioned a certain level of comfort he felt with first-year OC Dowell Loggains and he certainly showed that through four starts,” writes Brad Crawford. “Picking up where he left off, Rattler averages 310.5 passing yards per game for the SEC’s top passing offense….Rattler’s two interceptions came in the fourth quarter of a Week 3 loss at Georgia in obvious passing situations. Other than that, he has been flawless. And he is the only SEC quarterback in the 247Sports Top 10.”

🔼 Gamecocks In The NFL. It’s time for our weekly check-in on some of our favorite Gamecock alumni in the pros!

Jadeveon Clowney continued his strong defensive effort for the Ravens, adding three tackles, half a sack, and two QB hurries to his stat sheet for the season, while JJ Enagbare tallied four tackles, one tackle for a loss, and a QB hurry in the Packers’ come-from-behind win over the Saints. Stephon Gilmore made three tackles and broke up a pass for the Cowboys, while Ernest Jones continued to be a household name for the Rams, adding nine tackles, one for a loss, and a pass breakup. Rico Dowdle scored his first NFL touchdown on Sunday afternoon for the Cowboys, and Deebo Samuel did Deebo Samuel things for the 49ers, catching six passes for 129 yards and a TD.
