🔼 Mark Your Calendars. The SEC slate is in for Gamecock women’s hoops! South Carolina will welcome a slew of NCAA Tournament teams to Colonial Life Arena this season, including Sweet 16 finishers Tennessee and Ole Miss. Full SEC schedule here.

🔼 Ranked Early. Three Gamecocks will start the season in the ITA rankings when Gamecock women’s tennis takes the court. Ayana Akli and Sarah Hamner are both ranked in singles and doubles, while Shahar Biran earned a spot in the singles rankings. Akli earned the seventh overall spot in singles, while Hamner checked in at No. 25 and Biran at No. 106.

🔼 Fresh Talent. South Carolina freshman DB Jalon Kilgore turned some heads on Saturday night. Kilgore earned a spot on On3’s Charles Power’s list of Week 1 True Freshman Standouts. He finished the game with 12 total tackles, including five solo stops.

🔼 A Legend. Another jersey will hang forever at Stone Stadium! Charlie Arndt's jersey will be retired on September 22 when South Carolina men’s soccer takes on Georgia State. Arndt, who wore No. 1, played goalie for the Gamecocks, earning Goalkeeper of the Year honors in 1988.

🔼 Rose To Every Occasion. Aliyah Boston is a three-time WNBA Rookie of the Month! Our girl not only leads all rookies in scoring with 14.5 points per game, but she continues to set the WNBA standard for field goal percentage with a league-best 58.2%!
