South Carolina men’s basketball announced its upcoming SEC slate this week. The Gamecocks will welcome Mississippi State, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, LSU, Florida, and Tennessee to Colonial Life Arena this season. Full schedule here.

🔼 Sold Out. We’re starting the home season off right for the Gamecocks! South Carolina announced a sell-out crowd for tomorrow night’s home opener against Furman. Student enthusiasm is a huge driver of the turnout; 17,200 student ticket requests mark the second-highest on record. The game kicks under the lights at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

🔼 Right At Home. Freshman defensive back Jalon Kilgore continues to earn praise for his standout performance last weekend in his Gamecock debut.

“Jalon is just a really good football player,” Coach Beamer said. “For a true freshman to come into that game against a high-powered offense and play like he did, he looked right at home and looked natural. He didn’t look out of place. That was awesome to see.”
