Tailgate Talks. Grab your visors and a cold one, this could get interesting. The Head Ball Coach himself, Steve Spurrier, is on the line and these three have a lot to talk about. From reminiscing about some of the greatest moments in program history to explaining some unexpected early exits, we cover it all. Of course, we also left some time for “this, that, and the other” as well.

🔺 Season’s Greetings. It’s finally game day for the men’s soccer team! They’ll kick off the season tonight, hosting Winthrop at 7 p.m. South Carolina has out-scored Winthrop 36-7 throughout their 10 meetings. Gamecock fans can lead the nation in attendance, yet again! Purchase your single-game tickets here.

🔺 Order, Order. The order of SEC play for the men’s basketball season is here! The Gamecocks will open up the conference slate at Mississippi State on January 4. Nine SEC games will be played at Colonial Life Arena, with six squads being 2024 NCAA Tournament teams. Click here for season ticket information!

🔺 Key Pieces. The Reese’s Senior Bowl named 14 Gamecock football players to its watch list! Rocket Sanders, Gage Larvadain, Joshua Simon, Torricelli Simpkins III, Tonka Hemingway, DeAndre Jules, Kyle Kennard, T.J. Sanders, Demetrius Knight Jr., Bam Martin-Scott, Debo Williams, O’Donnell Fortune, Kai Kroeger, and Hunter Rogers all made the senior all-star game watch list. The Gamecocks tie for the 12th-highest total for a school on the list.

🔺 Full-Circle Moment. Former Gamecock A’ja Wilson has won MVPs, championships, gold medals, Player of the Year honors, and more. This year, she has been named the 2024 Dawn Staley Community Leadership Award winner. Her work with the A’ja Wilson Foundation and youth empowerment initiatives are impactful on and off the court.
