🎥 THE STORY

The Story. Underrated, overlooked, and under-recruited, this new-look wide receiver room has plenty of ammo for a boulder-sized chip on their shoulder. And as fate would have it, their new coach can relate. With no "star" returner among the group, it's up to a group of transfers, freshmen, and unproven returners to show the college football world that they have what it takes to shine on the big stage.

🔺 Let’s Get It Started. When you wake up in the morning, it’ll be gameday in Columbia! South Carolina will start year four of the Shane Beamer Era taking on Old Dominion tomorrow at 4:15 p.m. in a sold-out Williams-Brice Stadium. Start your gameday early at the Gamecock Village presented by Farm Bureau Insurance at 11:45 a.m. Fans who can’t make it can watch the game on SEC Network and listen on the Gamecock Sports Radio Network.

🔺 Top-25 Tussle. The women’s soccer team took No. 16 Ohio State down to the wire! The teams finished the match in a 1-1 draw after the Gamecocks scored an equalizer in the final minutes. Hallie Meadows set up a free kick for Cuyler Zulauf with just five minutes remaining. Goalkeeper Tina Tsaousis recorded seven saves. The Gamecocks will take on Miami (Ohio) on Sunday at 1 p.m.

🔺 Our State. The men’s soccer team takes the pitch tonight for the Palmetto Series presented by the South Carolina Education Lottery! They’ll host No. 1 Clemson at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. The first 200 students will get free t-shirts. It’s the first Palmetto Series of the 2024-25 season, so find out how the schools earn points!

🔺 Get Set. South Carolina volleyball starts its 51st season this weekend! They’ll head to Durham for a challenging tournament at Duke today through Sunday. They’ll start off playing No. 13 Kansas today at 3 p.m. Tomorrow, they’ll take on Colgate and they’ll finish the weekend on Sunday playing host Duke. All matches will be streamed on ACCNX.
