📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Medaling Kid. Gamecock women’s track & field athlete Zaya Akins brought home some medals from the U20 World Championships! She anchored the USA’s 4×400m relay and led the team to a gold medal with a 3:30.74 mark. She also earned a bronze medal in the 400m sprint with a 52-second flat time. Jaouad Khchina, Cynteria James, and Cheyla Scott also competed at the championships.

🔺 Let’s Take A Trip. Men’s soccer plays on the road tonight for the first time this season! They’ll play at Jacksonville at 6 p.m. on ESPN+. The 1-0-2 Gamecocks have earned a point in their first three matches for the first time since 2014.

🔺 Going International. Women’s basketball senior Sania Feagin will represent the United States in the 2024 3×3 U23 World Cup! The tournament will take place September 11-15 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. She has experience in international competition as she won a gold medal in 2021.

🔺 Crowd Goes Wild. Gamecock fans have shown out for the men’s soccer team this season! The attendance total is 16,934 through three home matches, leading the nation. The two most-attended NCAA men’s soccer matches this season have been at Stone Stadium! Carolina will be back at home on Saturday night when they host Belmont.
