You've heard their voices over the airwaves every Saturday in the fall for about as long as you can remember. When you reminisce on some of the biggest moments in Gamecock history, they're right in the middle of it. Todd Ellis and Tommy Suggs are synonymous with South Carolina football, but you may not realize how much work goes into every production, or just how close these two broadcasters have truly become.
📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Mountain Moose. Gamecock baseball catcher Cole Messina was drafted in the third round of the MLB Draft by the Colorado Rockies! The 77th overall pick leaves South Carolina as a consensus All-American and Johnny Bench Award winner. The selection comes one day after South Carolina signee PJ Morlando was drafted in the first round to the Miami Marlins.

🔼 Big League Bound. Two more Gamecocks were drafted as day two went on! Pitcher Eli Jones was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the seventh round. He wasn’t the last Gamecock pitcher to be drafted yesterday. Garrett Gainey was picked by the Tampa Bay Rays in the ninth round.
🔼 Center Stage. Football head coach Shane Beamer took center stage at SEC Media Days yesterday! He talked about the quarterback position and players around the offense, the addition of Rocket Sanders, and much more. Review everything Coach Beamer said here!
🔼 Debo In Dallas. Gamecock linebacker Debo Williams met with SEC Network analyst and Gamecock alum Alyssa Lang to discuss the defense. “I told the defense just a couple of weeks ago we’re going for donuts. I don’t want teams scoring, man,” Williams said. They talked about the team’s bond and how things are going into the season.

🔼 All-Star Aliyah. Former Gamecock Aliyah Boston recorded her 20th career double-double on Sunday with 17 points, 16 rebounds, and four blocks. Her Indiana Fever defeated the Minnesota Lynx, 81-74, in a comeback win. Legendary head coach Dawn Staley gave Boston her praises during the game.
