📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Rockin’ Rookie. Gamecock defensive lineman Dylan Stewart was named the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award’s National Player of the Week! He was also this week’s SEC Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week with teammate Kyle Kennard. The freshman recorded four tackles, including 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in South Carolina’s win over Old Dominion.

🔺 Winner, Winner. Gamecock freshmen had a successful week! Cross country runner Teresa Cherotich was named the SEC Women’s Freshman Runner of the Week. She won the Covered Bridge Open 5K last weekend with a 17:16.14 time, the sixth-fastest in Gamecock history.

🔺 Eyes On Us. Women’s golf All-Americans Hannah Darling and Louise Rydqvist were named to the 2024-25 Fall ANNIKA Award Watch List! The ANNIKA Award goes to the top female DI collegiate golfer, voted on by players, coaches, and members of the college golf media.

🔺 Palmetto Pride. The women’s soccer team hosts another edition of the Palmetto Series presented by the South Carolina Education Lottery tonight! They’ll take on Clemson at 6 p.m. and the first 200 students will receive a free t-shirt. Through two games, South Carolina leads the country in total and average attendance. If you can’t make it to Stone Stadium, you can watch live on ESPNU.
